This is a 2016 Black JK Jeep that had some swirl marks so I did a one-step polish on it and coated it with Flight Shield’s Sapphire V1 (A Nano Ceramic Coating) which has a five-year warranty and it is transferable so you can get your money out of it.
I had talked to the client a couple months back and he did his research. I told him that wax melts at 180 degrees and the engine temperature’s 210 degrees. He went online and verified that and he did a background check of not only Excalibur Mobile Detail but he also did a background check of Flight Shield Auto Marine and decided to pull the trigger and get this baby taken care of.
Also you might also know that the wax companies and the detailers are becoming aware of the dirty little secret that wax melts at 180 degrees and now they are coming out with something called fossilized wax and they call it a sealant.
Well, wax is not a sealant because it does not seal the vehicle. I did my own research on it and found out the melting temperature on the wax sealants (in fact they don’t even use the word wax on their products) has a melting point of 210 degrees; and again the engine temperature is still 210 degrees.
So if anyone approaches you with the sealant it’s not a sealant unless it’s a ceramic coating like Flight Shield that bonds to the paint.
